My dear friend Carole, what fun times we had, on many of our holidays. England, Ireland, (borrowing someone’s wheelchair) oops! Scotland, Isle of Wight, Isle of Skye, Prague, to name just a few, many an evening at each other houses going around the world planning our next trip, which did include a few G & Ts. But one of the best’s off the cuff night was down at our famous Weatherspoons the Edmund Halley, where the boys got rather pickled and walking home ending up at a board meeting. lol. As for us girls, the Masonettes. The Edmund Halley was our famous haunt for so many years. The laughs, the chats, the cheap drinks and a curry, such good times will be remembered for ever.
